You want local goods, they got 'em! The gals of the Neighbor Goods shop (above Hampden's longtime-love, doubledutch) don't disappoint when it comes to the selection of local makers and vintage items. My knits are in great company: sidled up next to bike straps from Hold Fast and jewelry from Freda Mohr, there's certainly something to fulfill your retail therapy needs.

Benefit Baltimore Market

For every purchase you make at this market, a portion of the sales will be donated to local nonprofit organizations. Not only is that all well and good, but the items you're purchasing help local makers (the folks in your community) pay their own bills. It's a double whammy of good karma!

For me, 20% of my sales will be donated to these nonprofits, the list is still TBA. But the other 80% helps me cover my BGE bill so I don't strain my eyes while I'm knitting away in my sweatshop, ya feel me?

Merry Mart 2017

At this point, you have just about three weeks left to find the perfect thing for that perfect someone to make them say, "wow, you think I'm pretty neat!" Don't be stuck giving gift cards to someone you actually like, that's for suckers!

Merry Mart is sure to have something for all the someones you need to get something/some things for during the holidaze. It's a curated list of vendors: Creative Alliance did the hard part by weeding out junk that was made in China.

Women's Unity Artisan Market

  • Mary Gardella's Spot, Studio 5 (3rd floor in Building 1) (map)

Hey, ladies! Come out to this holiday craft market featuring goods made by the women of Baltimore. It's going down in the studio of Mary Gardella.

The space housed in an old textile mill with floor to ceiling windows, creeky old wood floors & brick walls--this location couldn't be any cool even if Colin Farrel showed up and asked me to personally knit him a beanie.

Grab a glass of (*free*)bubbly, mix & mingle, chat & shop!

This event is free to attend! RSVP here so we know how many bottles to pop!
